Dr. Tamás Törőcsik

 

He was born in Jászberény in 1965. He earned his degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Szeged in 1991.

After graduating he started working as a rapporteur for Professional Partnership of Legal Advisers No. 84/3, which on 01 November 1991 was transformed into a Law Firm.

From 1996 he was one of the partners in Vass, Kardos and Partners Law Firm. Since 01 January 1997 this company has been operating in its present form as Kardos, Pető and Törőcsik Law Firm.

He is specialised in financial law, company law, factoring, bankruptcy, liquidation and claim collection as well as economic criminal law.

He was one of the founders of SOLVO Biotechnology, Inc. in 1999, and has been a shareholder of the company.

He is an invited lecturer at the Department of Civil Law and Civil Procedure Law of the Faculty of Law, University of Szeged.

He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for the Europe of Communities. The aim of this organisation is to present the legal, historical, economic, political and cultural projections of the European integration and the characteristic features of the different Member States by emphasising their common dimensions. Dr. Törőcsik is founder of the Foundation of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy established at Szeged's New Clinic.

He is married with three children; his wife is a university lecturer.
